Study in Ireland
We have been designing and delivering award winning, field-based archaeological, natural and cultural heritage research and training programs for over two decades.
We provide credited and uncredited programs (and internships) for novice and experienced students. Each program is carefully designed to provide a unique and enriching educational experience for the participants whilst providing value to the communities in which we operate.
All our programs are culturally immersive, with students living with wonderful host families, affording an authentic insight into life in Ireland.

What people say
“I would highly recommend this program. Not only was it a great academic experience, the instructors were kind and helped us integrate ourselves into the local culture and were very protective and engaging at the same time. The locals were kind and accommodating, especially with regard to our homestay parents.”
McKenna Cooper, Pikes Peak Community College, CO (USA)
“It was a one-of-a-kind experience, and I am very grateful I received this opportunity. It is something I will remember forever”.
Olivia, Indiana State University, IN (USA)
“I would strongly recommend an Environmental Science Program with the IHS as the program is a great way to learn a variety of things (geology, ecology, archaeology, heritage) in the class but mostly hands-on.”
Ansley Still, Eckerd College, FL (USA)
“The program was well-rounded, educational and very fun. It was great to hike around Ireland and learn so much about its cultural and environmental past.”
Emily Wexler, Boston University, MA (USA)
